Top Stars Set for Tunisian Tussle
WTT stars are set to light up the African continent for the first time next month, when Tunisia plays host to WTT Contender Tunis from October 24-30 at Salle Omnisport de Rades.
Three top 20 players, world number seven Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Patrick Franziska (15) and Quadri Aruna (16) spearhead men’s singles action, whilst Austria’s Sofia Polconova and Adriana Diaz from Puerto Rico will lead the women’s singles field into battle.
Germany’s Ovtcharov will be looking to make amends after his shock opening-round loss to Cho Seungmin from the Republic of Korea at last week’s WTT Star Contender Doha but will face stiff competition from the likes of Marcos Freitas, Robert Gardos, and Kristian Karlsson.
